Efficacy and therapeutic efficiency of HighTone Therapy were shown in various scientific studies that we have assembled here for your information.

The Influence of HighTone Power Therapy on Peripheral Microcirculation within Inferior Limbs

The study included 30 people, aged 20-60 years. The first group included 16 patients with peripheral vascular system (artery and vein) lower limb diseases. The second group included 14 healthy people. A series of 10 HighTone Therapy treatments with SimulFAM X was applied to the lower limb. Before and after series of treatments blood flow was measured using Laser-Dopler.

Analgesic effectiveness of the High Tone Power Therapy and TENS therapy in spinal ailments.

Comparison of TENS analgesic effectiveness and the new High Tone Power Therapy in patients with chronic pain in spinal joints.
The group consisted of 50 patients who underwent either TENS or the HighTone treatment. Immediately before and after the series of treatments the measurements were made for each patient in order to estimate the pain threshold by means of the pain meter called Pain Matcher and the subjective numerical scale.

HighTone Power Therapy in Preventive Treatment of Chronic Venous Insufficiency

The study enrolled 30 patients treated due to chronic venous insufficiency who were subjected to 10 series of HighTone Power therapy treatments. The measurements of lower limbs circumferences were conducted before and after treatment series. Pain level was also subjected to the evaluation. For this purpose 10-degree numerical pain scale was used.

Comparison of GBO HiToP® against conventional ECT machine from Siemens as a treatment against mentally disabled patient

In this study was performed at the Mental Health Hospital Dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat, Malang – East Java. The team of 6 psychiatrists treated 100 patients, all of which were in house patients (not day care patients) where they stay at the hospitals and can be evaluated and treated on a regular basis. The length of the study was 3 months.

High-frequency External Muscle Stimulation significantly improves Symptomatic Diabetic Polyneuropathy

The impact of HighTone Therapy EMS on neuropathic symptoms in a larger cohort (414 patients) in a real world study design was assessed. With a 10 point analog scale the symptom reduction of DSP patients under a 4 week treatment period was monitored.

HighTone Therapy as Regeneration Therapy for Infant Cerebral Palsy (ICP)

The study included 78 children with spastic hemiparesis and spastic tetraparesis. The dosage of the HighTone Therapy was determined using parameters of the cell bioenergetic. The treatment resulted in a activation of the regular neurohumoral mechanisms, activation and change of the brain blood flow, decrease of the level of the muscle tone and improvement of the coordination without side effects.

High-Tone External Muscle Stimulation in End-Stage Renal Disease: Effects on Symptomatic Diabetic and Uremic Peripheral Polyneuropathy

Multi-Center prospective, nonrandomized, pilot trial in MHD (maintenance hemodialysis) patients to determine (1) whether HTEMS (HighTone EMS) is also effective in treating diabetic PPN in the uremic state, and (2) whether uremic PPN is similarly modulated.

Beneficial Effects of External Muscle Stimulation on Glycaemic Control in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes

Controlled clinical study at the DDZ (German Diabetes Center, Düsseldorf) with a 6 week HighTone Therapy treatment of 16 patients with type 2 diabetes. In the beginning as well as in the end of the treatment phase, blood was taken from the subjects and examined for metabolical and immunological parameters (TNF-a, IL-6, IL-18, Adiponektin) by means of highly intensive ELISA.

High frequent muscle stimulation as a treatment for painful neuropathy for type 2 diabetes improves the micro vascular endothelial cell function

Clinical study at the University of Heidelberg. HighTone EMS was applied to the patients twice a week for 60 minutes and for a total of 8 weeks. With the aid of visual analog scales (1= no pain, 10 = very strong pain) the participants’ extent of the symptoms (prickle, burning, pain, numbness) before and after high tone therapy was evaluated. The micro vascular endothelial cell function was monitored.

High-tone power therapy in the treatment of coxarthrosis

The objective of this paper was to assess the effect of high tone power therapy on reduction of negative consequences of coxarthrosis. A group of patients with coxarthrosis was subjected to a series of 10 high-tone power therapy procedures. The findings indicate a decrease of pain, an increase of hip joint mobility range and an improvement of all the tested functional parameters in all the patients.
